Skye Fraser

Skye brings 18 years of experience in the dental industry to Dental Folk, including 12 years as a dedicated Dental Hygienist. Her professional journey commenced in 2006 as a dental assistant, before her passion for dentistry led her to complete a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle in 2013.

Throughout her career, Skye has specialised in preventive dental care, with particular focus on professional cleaning, management of gum disease, comprehensive oral health screening, and patient education. She has developed additional expertise in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, enabling her to assist patients in achieving both functional and aesthetic goals for their smiles.

Skye joined Dental Folk to be with a team that shares her commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care. She prioritises creating a calm and comfortable environment during appointments and finds significant professional satisfaction in contributing to patients' improved oral health and overall wellbeing.

Beyond Professional Practice

Outside of her clinical responsibilities, Skye enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. The family maintains an active lifestyle, frequently visiting beaches and lakes, and exploring outdoor environments together.
